Summer is right around the corner, and you must have travel plans sorted out. If not, it’s high time you got out the vacation planner and chalked out your trips. The best vacation planner will help you get hotels, plan out the attractions you would see, and be an overall help.
However, we are talking about something different today. Every summer I like to try out some new cuisines for expanding my palette. This year, I was thinking of a summer vacation that could help me in getting the most of the world. So, what are the international cuisines you must try around the world? Let’s see.
-
Mediterranean
Summers are for lighter food, and as much as I like my spices, my go-to cuisine comes from coastal areas. With the Greek and other cuisines, you cannot go wrong. Get yourself some lobsters and wine as you dine beside the beach, or rest with some calming seafood.
Seafood and fishes are good for your health, and the Greeks love to feed their guests. So, whether you are a fitness freak or just a person who likes to gorge on food, you would get the best of both worlds with this cuisine.
-
Arabian
Arabian cuisine is sweet, dense and complimented by fruits during every offering. The spiced, rich gravy acts as the perfect complement to a whole day of travels as it is known to soothe and give you all the space you need. Pair up the many sweets with red wine, and you are pretty much set for the night.
Arabs are known for cooking for the entire family in one go. So, if you have a friend who will help you find a local family, you are in for a treat that you have not experienced. Take it from me, o restaurant can compare to the handiwork of an aging Arab mother.
-
Aussie
One of the most versatile cuisines around, Aussies have pretty much everything. From lobster dinners to Bugs, these eccentric bunch of people can go from extremely high-end to extremely low end in no time. This means that through your trip to Australia, you would be bombarded with something unique at every turn, without compromising on quality.
Do not forget the local Tim Tams and macaroons for when you are done with supper.
-
Chinese
Authentic Chinese is like one of those impossible things to chase. However, once, you are in the interior of China, you get the food that the Chinese pride themselves on. Lightly spiced, filled with the warmest of soups and homely, this is one cuisine to take home.
Beware, your local China joint is never going to be authentic enough to give you the flavor of actual China, so, get yourself out there and get some real expansion for your palette.
And that’s it. Try these four cuisines if you are going outside of the country come this summer. Enjoy yourself while you gorge on local delicacies and always remember to be careful.
