How You Can Save money On Orlando Theme Park Tickets

June 25, 2019 by Keith Alderson

If you are looking for some thrills this year and fancy hitting some of Orlando’s best theme parks then you will no doubt be looking for ways in which you save money on park tickets. Some entrance fees can run up to $100 per day, which can put a spanner in the works of your plans to hit a couple of theme parks during your time in Orlando. The best solution therefore is to take advantage of the many ways in which you save money on admission fees, and here are just a handful of ways in which you can do just that.

Coupon Sites

Looking for tickets to Universal Orlando or Disney World? Coupon sites such as Groupon very often have great offers which will save you big bucks on your admission fees for Orlando’s biggest parks. There are usually a limited number of coupons which are released and as you can imagine these offers go pretty quickly. In order to get on the front foot and ensure that you bag one of the money saving coupons, check in every day and sign up to the mailing list to be notified of when these coupons are available.

Third Party Companies

Many official third party sellers can help you to bag a discount on your entrance to Orlando’s best theme parks, as long as you book up early. Before spending any money on one of these websites you must first ensure that they are a registered and respected seller. Unfortunately there has been evidence in recent years of websites being set up which are fraudulent and will take your money instead of cutting you a deal. The official site of the park which you want to visit will have a list of official vendors so that you can check.

Multi Day and Multi Park

Multi-day passes and multi-park passes at places like Disney and Universal Studios can save you a great deal of money. If you plan on visiting for more than 1 day then this is the best way to do it and save some cash at the same time.

Annual Pass

All day passes can be upgraded to an annual pass and this can also save you a bundle of cash for your next visit. Let’s take Disney World, their annual pass costs $1319, this gives you access to all parks and water parks which would usually run at $489 daily. And so if you upgrade to the annual pass then you only need to visit 3 times in a  year to save you money, or 3 days during your time in Orlando.

Military Service

If you are a veteran or you are actively serving in the military then most theme parks can offer great discounts for you. Be sure to take your official ID with you in order to make the most of this discount for those in the military.

These are just some of the ways in which you can save yourself some money when you go to the theme parks in Orlando.
