Ravenous Chef Eating His Way Around The World

3 less popular but amazingly useful kitchen products

November 8, 2017 by Keith Alderson

Kitchen appliances and gadgets differ largely from one model to the next, and the fact of the matter is that some might not even be extremely useful. If, for instance, you don’t make a habit out of spending a lot of time in the kitchen, some devices could hardly make any sense. While some people find great pleasure in looking for and using new gadgets, others might not be as enthusiastic about them.

For instance, did you know that there’s something called an avocado slicer or a pineapple corer? It stands to reason that you can do everything that these devices are capable of with just a sharp knife. So, you can look at kitchen inventions from two perspectives.

You’re either a gadget aficionado who’s actually going to use those devices mainly because he or she is in complete awe of whatever the industry’s come up with, or you’re someone who’s willing to give them a try and then forget all about them. In this last situation, the device will end up dumped at the back of a shelf in your cupboards.

The point that we are trying to make is that sometimes, kitchen products are different depending on the requirements of the person who will buy and use them. Think of your own needs before anything as you will be the one employing the gadget so that it is capable of making your life easier.

To cut it short, we’ve put together a list of several useful appliances and gadgets that prove their worth under many circumstances. Needless to say, since they are unique, they meet requirements of unique individuals. In other words, take everything with a grain of salt and try to realize whether you need one of the following products or really, they might make no difference when it comes to improving your life quality.

A frozen yogurt maker

Who doesn’t love a nice cup of frozen yogurt once in a while? Surely most of us indulge in one, at least on occasion. The fact is that millions of Americans spend heaps of money on this treat that’s anything but affordable. Think of it this way. With all the extra toppings you can add to the frozen yogurt, you can pay as many as ten bucks on a cup.

Since a frozen yogurt maker rarely costs more than ninety dollars, this product is an investment in itself. After all, you get your money back with just nine uses or less, especially if you make frozen yogurt for your whole family.

A raclette grill

Nothing beats moments spent around the dinner table with your friends and family. The problem with family dinners is that they involve a lot of time and effort, especially on the part of the cook. So, instead of forcing your mother or grandmother spend countless hours in the kitchen, give them a raclette grill.

This product comes with several compartments where you can place meats, veggies, potatoes, and cheese so that they cook as you talk with your friends and family. What’s more, the whole experience is interactive, which means that every guest has the freedom to cook his or her own food and eat whatever they feel like.

A bread machine

The problem with store-bought bread is that it contains all sorts of additives, sodium, and even sugar. Obviously, a bread maker can help you in this respect, as you will be the one selecting the ingredients. In this way, you have the chance to eat way healthier bread and prepare delicious recipes that speak to the needs of people who have diabetes, are gluten-intolerant or can’t eat regular bread for one reason or the other.
